MCLEAN TRANSITIONAL TUDOR

McLean, VA. A layered take on transitional, warm and textural rather than strictly modern. In the main living space, a stone fireplace anchors the room, framed by dark wood built-ins and exposed ceiling beams overhead. Cream and charcoal sectionals face off across a brass framed, marble topped coffee table, the metal warming up all that stone and wood. In the kitchen, woven counter stools and small styled accessories play off the existing white cabinetry and black pendant lighting. In the dining room, brass based chairs and a ring style chandelier lend a more polished, formal edge. In the guest suite, a navy nailhead headboard sits against soft neutrals, with a small study nook tucked into the room, a desk and chair set up to double the space as a workspace. The primary bath, fully marble with herringbone floors and a freestanding tub, gets its finishing touch through styled accessories layered in to tie the space back to the rest of the home.
