ARLINGTON MOODY TROPICS

Arlington, VA. Moody throughout, with the paneling and cabinetry doing most of the heavy lifting before a single piece was placed. Dark leather sofas anchor the family room, paired with a coffee table and side tables shaped to mimic tree stumps, rough hewn texture against all that dark leather. Pillows echo the same idea in pattern, wood grain, basket weave, bold graphic prints layered together to tell the same story. The kitchen carries the moodiness upward, dark cabinetry framed by warm brass fixtures and arched niches breaking up all the straight lines. In the primary suite, the mood softens into something quieter, a light wood bed frame and brass accents bringing relief after the drama of the rest of the home.
